Whilst waiting for my licence renewal, I thought I better get myself up to speed reading and watching you tube and blogs (its amazing how one tends to forget things) and in the end I decided to make a 20m EFHW antenna.
After searching the web and found drawing of a 49:1 UNUN plus the 1/2 vertical, so I went online and ordered all the parts.
1/ The pole itself, a 10m fibreglass squid pole I got from Haverford
2/ The wiring/ box and connections I got the local hardware store
3/ The core ( a FT140-43), 100 pF capacitor, UHF connectors, RG58 coax and other bits and pieces I got from Mini-kits
Here's the result
Time to get on the air 😃
