Looks like there was a competition on today, so waited until I heard other. Going up and down the bands, I finally heard Phil VK3VB calling CQ. Strong signal. Gave me a 589 as well.

The QRP streak continues.

The rains have started again. Crikey, we just got over a week of flooding rains up here in FNQ, had 2 days respite and here we go again.
Anyway, only managed 1 contact today with Paul VK3DA on 40m down in Victoria.

The QRP streak goes on

Today was a good day. Jumped on the radio in the afternoon and managed to get Ken JS6UHQ on 15m (0742 UTC). Had a quick coffee, tried 20m but no show. So I went down to 40m and heard Kevin VE7WD from Canada calling CQ. After a couple of tries, I finally got him (0837 UTC). Went back to 20m, but still no good. Next day I got onto 20m and got Thomas K3TW (2202 UTC) 3 contacts on 3 bands. Happy with that.
The QRP streak continues

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL WHO READ THIS.
0920 UTC. 7:30 pm local. Called a number of times of 40m, but no answer. I could hear a bunch of JA's, but obviously they didn't hear me. I then went up to 20m but got the same result. In the end I went up to 15m and heard 8A1A from Indonesia. Had to repeat my callsign a number of times, but in the end we got thru.

The QSO streak begins again
